York goal-scorer Peter Till says City are growing in confidence despite their 1-1 draw at Wrexham continuing their shaky start to the season.
City are 13th in the table and were booed off the pitch on Saturday.
Winger Till told BBC Radio York: "This is another game we should have won, we had the chances. The boys are confident and it's growing game on game.
"Barrow at home, we should have beaten them as well and the performances at home have been good."
He added: "The performances are getting better, barring the defeat against Fleetwood which was a disaster.
"The gaffer (Martin Foyle) has said in the press that he wanted to build on the away form.
"I think this is a good point, but to be disappointed with a point shows we are improving, we are getting there and we can kick on next week against Hayes."
