York City will have to replay their FA Trophy tie with Hinckley United after being held to a goalless draw by the Blue Square North club.
The result ended York City's record eight-match winning run.
City manager Martin Foyle, who led his side to the 2009 final, told BBC Radio York: "It's something I didn't want but we didn't have a goal threat today.
"Defensively I thought we were superb again but in that final third we were off the pace."
Foyle made some changes to his in-form side and he said: "I wanted to have a look at a few things as well.
"I wanted to see what it was like without Richard Brodie but also putting Adam Smith back out there as a winger so there was a few things I wanted to see.
"So it wasn't experimental and it's no disrespect to Hinckley but it's something I've had to have a look at.
"I'm going to go back to the strongest side again that's done so well."
The replay takes place on Tuesday at the Kitkat Crescent at 1945 GMT.
