Irishman Michael Ingham is now in his second season with York City
York City goalkeeper Michael Ingham is confident that their good run can continue in the Blue Square Premier.
The Northern Ireland international, 29, insists that there is belief in the squad and sees no reason why a play-off place can not be achieved.
"The only thing that's going to stop us is the away form," Ingham told BBC Radio York.
"If you can win 17 or 18 home games and draw the odd one that's going to put you there or thereabouts."
He added: "I think it's there for us to take. It's good at the moment but you've just got to keep the run going."
With Ingham in goal, York have only conceded one goal in five home games and he is proud of his record.
"I was delighted with last year's return," he said. "We only conceded 52 goals but so far we've only conceded six and we've kept five clean sheets in 10 matches.
"So if we can keep that going for the rest of the year it's going to set some record for the rest of the league."
Ingham said much of that record is down to the defenders in front of him, Daniel Parslow, David McGurk and Djoumin Sangare.
"To be honest we've got a high standard of centre halves," he said.
"I've played different levels throughout my career and as a partnership you can take two out of any of those three and they'll do a terrific job for you.
