Foyle will see his side in a friendly at North Ferriby United on Tuesday
York City manager Martin Foyle has added defender Djoumin Sangare to his squad for the new season.
The 25-year-old ex-Salisbury centre-back impressed manager Martin Foyle in the pre-season 2-0 defeat to Bradford City and has been offered a contract.
Foyle told BBC York: "He's a typical non-league player, he'll stick his head in, wears his heart on his sleeve."
The Frenchman will play in Tuesday's pre-season friendly at Ferriby with trialist striker Andrew Taylor.
Foyle is still searching for a striker but is unsure whether Taylor will be his man.
He added: "I'm looking all the time because it has got to be the right one.
Come Tuesday, the squad should be finalised and we can concentrate on a lot better things in training

"(Andy's) a young boy who hasn't had a lot of coaching at Grimsby. He's certainly razor-sharp but hasn't played a game since two or three weeks before the end of last season," he said.
"He hasn't had a lot of football, looked a bit rusty at times (against Bradford) but looked very exciting at other times."
Foyle will recall the players who missed the Bradford game because of niggling injuries, although winger Craig Nelthorpe will miss the trip to Ferriby with a slight illness.
"From Tuesday, hopefully the squad will be intact and that's what we're going to kick on with. Then we can concentrate on a lot better things in training," he said.
