York City's teenage striker Adam Boyes has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old has committed what is described as his long-term future to the North Yorkshire side.
He joined the centre of excellence in 2005 and he has since attracted the attention of scouts from Premier League and Championship clubs.
Boyes scored in York's penalty shoot-out win over Mansfield Town in the third round of the Setanta Shield.
