York City manager Colin Walker focused more on his side's poor display than the three dismissals which marred Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Woking.
"We did more and better passing of the ball and were more forthright going forward with eight players than with 11," Walker told BBC Radio York.
Darren Craddock, Tom Evans and Stuart Elliott all saw red in a crazy 19-minute spell in the second half.
But Walker declined to "start ranting and raving" over the three red cards.
He accepted Craddock's dismissal for clipping Woking striker Morgan when about to shoot from 12 yards, but was baffled by the red card for goalkeeper Tom Evans.
"I'm guessing that he's done Tom for stopping a goalscoring opportunity," he said, although the ball kicked well to the left of goal during the incident.
I've got to bring some players in that can play better and be a bit more streetwise

Elliott went for a second caution after retaliating to an alleged punch by Sole on Woolford which was missed by the officials.
Sole was cautioned for his part in the aftermath. "How their guy only ended up with a yellow card is completely and utterly beyond me," added Walker.
Despite the freakish nature of the dismissals, York will be embarrassed by setting a new club record of three red cards in one game.
Walker agreed his side should have taken better advantage of a shaky Woking defence that conceded a soft goal to Onome Sodje after just three minutes.
"I thought that would be the springboard for us to get more and to do more, but again we had lots of players who were below par," added Walker.
The red cards will mean at least three changes to the starting line-up for Tuesday's home game against Oxford.
Teenage keeper Josh Mimms, 18, will replace Evans, while youngsters Andy McWilliams and Liam Shepherd will come into contention.
In the longer term the manager hinted at changes during the summer.
While not naming names, Walker said: "When the opportunity comes I've got to bring some players in that can play better and be a bit more streetwise."
