York City striker Chris Beardsley has joined Blue Square North leaders Kettering Town on a month's loan. The former Mansfield and Kidderminster forward, 23, recently returned to fitness following a broken jaw.
However, he has had limited first-team opportunities with the in-form Minstermen so joins the Poppies for the chance of more regular football.
Fellow striker Alex Rhodes, 19, has joined Unibond Division One North side Bridlington Town for a month.
The pair are able to move immediately because clubs below Blue Square Premier level are not affected by the transfer window.
