York City striker Chris Beardsley is likely to be ruled out for up to four months after sustaining a broken jaw in Saturday's 2-0 win at Grays Athletic. Beardsley was hurt in an off-the-ball incident involving Grays defender Jamie Stuart, who was sent off.
"We've got a lad in hospital with a broken jaw in two places," said York boss Billy McEwan.
"He will be operated on in Derby and will probably be missing for three to four months."
