The dispute between Yeovil Town and former manager Russell Slade has been settled amicably, a statement from the League Managers Association says.
The club commented: "We are pleased we can all draw a line under the matter for the benefit of both parties."
Slade was dismissed by the club in February 2009, following what chairman John Fry called "gross misconduct".
Slade, who has managed Brighton since his Yeovil tenure and is currently out of football, disputed the claim.
The 49-year-old said he had left Huish Park by mutual consent.
However, he consulted the LMA's legal team when he read Fry's statement about the departure on Yeovil's website.
LMA chief executive Richard Bevan said: "All parties are delighted that the settlement has been agreed in a cordial and professional manner.
"I am sure that a manager of Russell's experience, will be back in management in the not too distant future."
The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
