Noble has scored eight goals in 64 games for Bristol City
Yeovil have made their second signing from Bristol City with midfielder David Noble arriving at Huish Park on loan.
Noble follows keeper Chris Weale in dropping down a division to get first-team action, joining Terry Skiverton's side for the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old is out of contract at Ashton Gate in the summer and conceded that was a "big reason" for the move.
"I needed to play some games to put myself in the shop window," midfielder Noble told BBC Somerset.
"In the summer I'm going to be looking for a new club so I didn't want to go into that free-for-all with nobody having seen me for four or five months."
Player-manager Skiverton hopes the side benefits from the addition of a player who started his career at Arsenal and has also played for Watford, West Ham and Boston.
"I've been getting quite a lot of kids in and I needed someone with a bit of experience. He's definitely got that in abundance," Skiverton told BBC Somerset.
Noble added: "Hopefully I can bring some creativity to the team and a bit of experience.
"I don't feel old, but at 27 I'm getting on. Maybe a calm head is a big thing I can bring, as well as a couple of goals."
