Skiverton has picked up one point from three games at the helm
Terry Skiverton is set to bring in new players to freshen up his Yeovil squad.
Player-manager Skiverton has been in charge for three games but has yet to pick up a win and the club are now just four points off the relegation zone.
"We've been trying to play a little bit of football and getting the ball down," Skiverton told BBC Somerset after losing 2-0 at Walsall.
"But that's not been working so we'll have to look into other areas and other ways to strengthen the squad."
Skiverton picked up a point in his first game in charge at home to Oldham but has since suffered successive 2-0 defeats on the road.
And he was left fuming after gifting Walsall two "soft" goals on Saturday.
"We were very lightweight and we need to put more of a physical presence in there," he added.
"The players know that I'm angry and the way that we're going on, those things won't be happening again.
"With results elsewhere we need to start bucking our ideas up and it's not going to be a case of us just going out there and giving it a go.
"We're going to have to change our whole philosophy on the way that we're going to approach games and the way that we're going to play games.
"We want to start producing stuff now rather than having to save ourselves at the end of the season."
Skiverton conceded he had already been weighing up his options over new arrivals, but admitted he did not want to make a rush decision in the recruitment process.
He added: "We'll be having a look to see what's out there, but we're not going to be making any rash decisions and get the wrong people in.
"We want people in that can help the team and that can go straight into the team."
