New Yeovil boss hints at Way role

Yeovil's Darren Way
Way has enjoyed three spells at Huish Park in his career

New Yeovil player-manager Terry Skiverton has said that he wants Darren Way to join his coaching staff.

Way, 29, is currently recovering from serious injuries he sustained in a car crash in December but has been helping the new management team at Huish Park.

"He's been watching DVDs for us and getting stats and has been a big help to us," Skiverton told BBC Somerset.

"He'll be someone I call on quite a lot and when he's up and walking he's going to be another one to join the team."

Midfielder Way, who has also played for Norwich and Swansea, was presented to the Town crowd during the half-time interval of Yeovil's home draw against Oldham.

"It wasn't planned, but it turned out to be a very poignant moment," added Skiverton.
