Yeovil Town are set to offer striker Marcus Stewart a position as player-coach in an attempt to secure his services for next season.
The 35-year-old is out of contract and the club originally offered him a new deal solely as a player.
Stewart joined Yeovil in January 2007 from Bristol City after a loan spell.
Last season he scored six goals in 40 appearances. Stewart previously played for Sunderland, Ipswich, Huddersfield and Bristol Rovers.
