Former Swindon midfielder Ashan Holgate has joined Yeovil Town on trial, and came on as a substitute in Saturday's friendly against Portsmouth. The Premiership side ran out 2-0 winners in the game at Huish Park.
Holgate, 20, left the County Ground in May after being deemed surplus to requirements by boss Paul Sturrock.
He had not played for Swindon's first team since August 2006, and had a loan spell at League Two side Macclesfield Town during the spring.
