Welsh has finally completed his much-anticipated move to Yeovil

Welsh, 18, admits he was shocked to be released by the Hammers but has vowed to bounce back after impressing on trial with the Glovers.

"It really hit me because I thought I'd had a good season but as one door closes another opens," Welsh told BBC Somerset Sound.

"I bring a lot of pace to the team and and I hope to have an impact."
