Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of right-back Marvin McCoy from Ryman Premier side Wealdstone for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has been on trial at Adams Park this summer and impressed enough during pre-season friendlies to earn a one-year deal.

McCoy began his career as a Watford trainee before falling into non-league.

He was Wealdstone's players' player and fans' player of the year award winner last season.

As part of the deal Wycombe will travel to Wealdstone for a pre-season friendly ahead of next season.

Meanwhile Chairboys boss Gary Waddock has named midfielder Gareth Ainsworth as his captain for the coming season.
