Wycombe are unbeaten in the league since Taylor took over in the summer
Wycombe Wanderers manager Peter Taylor has said he is delighted with the way his team have bounced back from their FA Cup disappointment.
The Chairboys responded to Saturday's slump at non-league Eastwood with a 4-0 league win at home to Macclesfield.
"We got beat on Saturday and it was a big shock so it meant there was more pressure on the players going into this game," Taylor told the club website.
The win put the club seven points clear at the top of League two.
Magno Vieira scored twice for Wycombe, with strike partner Angelo Balanta and defender Leon Johnson netting the other goals.
Taylor added: "I never thought I'd have a team where I had a Columbian and Brazilian up front.
"But when you have the likes of [Gary] Holt, Doc [Tommy Doherty] and [Franck] Moussa, who pass well into the strikers, you are always going to be at an advantage."
The win extended Wycombe's undefeated league run this season to 18 games, and they are the only unbeaten club in the top four divisions.
