Dragons suffer double injury blow
Wrexham striker Lee McEvilly
Lee McEvilly may have broken his foot for the third time
Wrexham's pre-season plans have been disrupted by training injuries to Lee McEvilly and defender Lee Roche.

Northern Ireland striker McEvilly has broken the same bone in his foot that snapped twice during a four-month period last season.

Former Manchester United trainee Roche has also been plagued by injuries, but his broken toe is less serious.

McEvilly re-signed with Wrexham last month after a move to Bradford fell through because of medical concerns.

A scan on Wednesday should reveal the seriousness of his latest mishap, with immediate surgery likely.

Roche went over on his foot during a training session and will now miss the start of the season, while Roche's recovery time is expected to be no more than a month.
