Wrexham are looking to solve their goalkeeping problems after former Wales international Andy Dibble again pulled up with a thigh injury on Wednesday. The Dragons have ensured that Stoke keeper Ben Foster's loan will be extended to the end of the season.
Manager Denis Smith is also looking to re-sign Hastings stopper Ryan Harrison as cover for Foster.
Dibble suffered a reaction playing for the Wrexham reserve team, while Michael Jones is also still on the injury list.
Elsewhere on the injury front, club skipper Brian Carey has undergone an exploratory operation on his troublesome knee, to look for the problem that has sidelined the Irishman since mid-October.
Fellow casualty Jim Whitley will also go under the knife next week to try and clear up the root cause of his ongoing knee problems.
Better news is that Dean Bennett, Steve Roberts and Mark Jones are all expected to be back in training before the Dragons host high-flying Bournemouth on 2 April.
