Wolverhampton Wanderers have recalled left-back George Friend from his loan with Scunthorpe United.
The 22-year-old made four appearances for the Iron during his month-and-a-half stay at Glanford Park, two of which were off the bench.
Friend was signed by Wolves boss Mick McCarthy from Exeter City in 2008.
The Devon-born player, who has previously had loan spells at Millwall and Southend, returns to Molineux in time for the Christmas schedule.
