Friend scored against Scunthorpe in the pre-season defeat by Wolves
Scunthorpe have signed Wolves full-back George Friend on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old is eligible to go into the squad to play Swansea City at home on Saturday.
Friend began his career at Exeter City, spending time on loan at Tiverton and Team Bath before helping the Grecians win promotion to the Football League.
He joined Wolves in September 2008 for an initial £350,000 and has made six first team appearances. He has also been on loan at Millwall and Southend.
