Camara is eyeing a move |
Wolves have rejected a written transfer request from striker Henri Camara. Camara, who scored seven Premiership goals this season, wants to stay in the top flight after Wolves' relegation.
"Henri's agent Willie McKay has been trying to find a Premier League club for him against our wishes," said Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey.
"We met Willie and Henri's uncle who explained what they wanted for Henri. After that meeting we received Henri's letter which we immediately rejected."
Moxey added: "We explained our position and reiterated our determination to keep Henri and the nucleus of the team together for next season when we hope to regain our Premier League status."

Camara, 27, remains adamant he wants to leave the club he joined for 1.5m last summer. He told the Wolves website: "If I said to you that I wanted to leave Wolves I'd be lying.
"My heart is here, I love playing here, but I came over here to play in the Premiership.
"It's not about money, just wanting to play in the Premiership. If Wolves had stayed up and Manchester United had come in for me, I wouldn't even have looked at it.
"But I am desperate to be African player of the Year and I don't think I'm a First Division player."
