Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dave Jones is keen to retain the services of Senegal's Henri Camara despite seeing his side effectively relegated from the Premiership on Saturday.
Camara's 55th-minute goal steered his side to a 2-1 victory over Everton but results elsewhere left Wolves needing a miracle to stay up.
The West Midlands club must win its final two games, hope fourth-bottom Manchester City lose both of theirs and overcome a negative goal difference of minus 37 to have a chance of retaining their Premiership status.
The Senegal star, who has scored six goals in his last seven games, has been linked with a summer move away from Wolves but his manager wants to keep the flying forward.
"Henri is here for the long-term, not the short term," Jones insisted.
"We've spent a lot of time with him because he didn't fire when he first came to the club.
"Unless somebody comes in with ridiculous money, we are going to keep building with Henri as a player."
Camara joined Wolves from Sedan in August 2003 for a fee of 1.5 million.
The Senegalese forward scored 22 league goals in 59 games for the French club, and has now scored 7 in 28 for his English Premiership side.
