Grant leaves his Woking post after just seven competitive games

Blue Square Premier outfit Woking have terminated the contract of head coach Kim Grant after just seven games.

The 36-year-old Ghanaian, who joined the club in May, leaves the club 23rd in the Blue Square Premier league with just two points so far this season.

Chairman David Taylor offered his resignation to the board, but it was unanimously refused.

Assistant coach Phil Gilchrist and Andy Cook take temporary charge while the club find a more permanent solution.
