Michael Gash's fifth goal of the season preserved Ebbsfleet's unbeaten home record after a brilliant display by keeper Lee Hook inspired Eastbourne.
Hook has already saved superbly twice from Luke Moore before Eastbourne went ahead after 22 minutes, courtesy of Andy Atkin's finish from 18 yards.
Gash hauled the home side level after 65 minutes when he took Mark Ricketts' pass and drilled past Hook.
Hook then made a stunning late save from Paul McCarthy to secure a point.
