Woking chairman says 'blame me'

Woking

Woking chairman David Taylor has defended new manager Kim Grant who has come under fire after their poor start.

The Cards lost their first four league games following Grant's appointment by Taylor this summer.

Taylor told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I take full responsibility. I took this decision. I made this situation, and I'll get us out of it."

He confirmed Grant will stay as boss, adding: "Absolutely. We always planned to review everything in September."

Taylor said: "We'll see how we get on at Oxford and see where we go from there.

"I'm absolutely convinced that with the players Kim's brought in, we should not be where we are."
