Woking have appointed Justin Edinburgh to assist caretaker manager Colin Lippiatt until the end of the season.
The former Spurs player has had managerial experience at Billericay, Fisher and Grays and he will also apply for the vacant manager's job.
Lippiatt, who is also the club's director of football told BBC Southern Counties Radio :"I felt that I could do with some help in this two-week period.
"It will give Justin an insight but loads of people will also apply."
Lippiatt was assistant to Geoff Chapple in the 1990's and had a spell in charge seven years ago.
But he has said that he has ruled out any possible return as manager.
"My time has gone, it's not for me anymore, if you don't feel it's right for you, then you shouldn't get involved in it".
