Dyer joined Milton Keynes from West Brom in the summer of 2006 |
Miton Keynes Dons winger Lloyd Dyer has been named as League Two's player of the month for October. Dyer was on target twice as the division's early leaders won four of their five matches during the month.
It completes an awards double after Dons boss Paul Ince was recently named as manager of the month for October.
The other contenders for the award were Barnet striker Liam Hatch, on-loan Chesterfield striker Adam Rooney and Chester midfielder Richie Partridge.
Dyer's Milton Keynes team-mate Keith Andrews has lost his appeal to the Football Association against the red card he was shown against Wycombe on Saturday. The Dons skipper was sent off when he was adjudged to have handled a goalbound shot on the line.
With the appeal dismissed, he will now serve a one-match ban for Tuesday's game against Grimsby.
