 Commons has spearheaded Forest's move up the table |
Nottingham Forest midfielder Kris Commons has been named as League One's player of the month for October. Commons scored five goals in six games during the month in question as Forest picked up two wins, three draws and suffered just one defeat.
The highlight was Commons' hat-trick in their 3-0 win at Cheltenham.
The other contenders for the award were Carlisle striker Joe Garner, Leeds midfielder Jonathan Douglas and Swansea goalkeeper Dorus De Vries.
