 Butler joined MK Dons from Leeds United |
Defender Paul Butler has left Milton Keynes Dons by mutual consent. The 34-year-old had been commuting to Milton Keynes from his home in Leeds since he joined the club in November.
The former Republic of Ireland international was released from his Leeds contract in January after falling out with manager Dennis Wise.
A statement on the club website said: "The decision has been reached as a result of Paul spending a lot of time away from his family."
