Barlow was appointed as Wigan number two in June |
Wigan caretaker-manager Frank Barlow says he is not interested in taking the job on a permanent basis. The 61-year-old was put in temporary charge of team affairs after manager Chris Hutchings was sacked on Monday.
But Barlow, who takes charge for the trip to Tottenham on Sunday, said: "I will not throw my hat into the ring. I don't like doing the interviews part."
Graeme Souness, Peter Reid, Joe Royle, Alex McLeish and former Wigan boss Paul Jewell have been linked with the job.
Swansea City's Spanish manager Roberto Martinez is another name in the frame.

Barlow added: "Chris asked me to come to the club so I am fully aware of my position and I will just take what comes.
"I am not on my own at the moment. The backroom staff here are one of the main assets of the club. They are very much together."
Latics chairman Dave Whelan says he will bide his time over finding a long-term replacement for Hutchings.
