Phillips' Terras return delayed

Lee Phillips
Phillips has returned to the Wessex Stadium for a second spell

Weymouth striker Lee Phillips' return has been delayed after their game against York on Tuesday was postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Phillips, 28, completed his move from Rushden & Diamonds on Monday after signing an 18-month contract.

He previously had a two-year spell at the Wessex Stadium, from 2002 to 2004, when he scored 33 times in 67 games.

Phillips had spells at Exeter City and Torquay United before spending the first half of this season at Rushden.

The Blue Square Premier side's game at Histon on Saturday will now kick off at 1300 BST because of the recent bad weather.

The Terras have not played since the 1-0 defeat by Torquay on Boxing Day.
