Weatherstone made 42 Conference appearances last season

The 27-year-old has been handed the armband by player-boss Jason Tindall, who describes Weatherstone as a "big influence both on and off the pitch".

Weatherstone signed for the Terras in June 2006, after spending two years with Stevenage.

After beginning his career at Oxford, he was captain at Boston, and also played for Yeovil and Hornchurch.
