Labadie agrees new West Brom deal

Joss Labadie
Labadie had an ill-fated loan spell at Shrewsbury last season

West Brom have tied up young midfielder Joss Labadie to a new one-year contract and the club, with the club having an option of adding a further year.

Labadie, 18, spent a brief spell on loan at Shrewsbury last season before suffering a metatarsal injury.

The Croydon-born player joined the Baggies in 2006 after being spotted at Barking Abbey College of Sport.

He signed his first professional deal at The Hawthorns 12 months ago and has played in 10 reserve-team games.
