Simpson scored twice in the 3-0 Carling Cup win over Wigan
West Brom have signed Arsenal striker Jay Simpson on loan until the end of the 2008-09 season.
The 20-year-old is yet to feature in the Premier League for the Gunners but played in this year's Carling Cup campaign, scoring twice.
He also had a spell on loan with Millwall last season.
Simpson told talkSPORT: "If I get chances to score I intend to take them. I'm going try my hardest and try to score as many goals as I can."
The Londoner will bolster an attack which has lost the services of Ishmael Miller for the rest of the season after he suffered a cruciate ligament injury.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen for some of his young stars who starred in the Carling Cup to go out on loan following their exit at the hands of Burnley earlier this month.
Simpson made 41 appearances for Millwall, scoring six goals and earning the League One player of the year award.
His first start for Arsenal was against Wigan in this season's Carling Cup, when he scored two goals in a 3-0 victory.
