Arsenal teenager Jay Simpson says he is committed to making an impact at the Emirates Stadium after spending a season on loan with Millwall.

Simpson played 40 games for the League One side, scoring eight goals from wide positions, but now returns to Arsenal.

Speaking to Arsenal's club website Simpson said: "I got a lot out of my time with Millwall and I think I did well for them too.

"But it reaffirmed for me that I want to play football at the highest level."

He added: "I will do everything I can to make sure that I can do that with the club I have loved since I was a child."
