Tininho made three appearances on loan at Barnsley last season

West Brom's Portuguese defender Tininho has been released by the club.

The 27-year-old left-back was limited to just one appearance for the Baggies last season after joining from Beira Mar in a �230,000 deal.

Tininho, who later spent a month on loan at Barnsley, is now expected to join Portuguese side Leixoes.

West Brom have strengthened their defensive options ahead of the new season with the signings of Marek Cech, Abdoulaye Meite and Gianni Zuiverloon.
