Hungary international Zoltan Gera is ready to pledge his future to West Bromwich Albion if they prove they can stay in the Premier League.
The winger has been linked with a move away from the Hawthorns but would ideally like to stay.
"It's not down to money at all, it's down to ambition and longevity of playing in the Premier League," Gera's agent Sam Stapleton told BBC WM.
"We're looking to make a decision before the end of the week."
The chairman's made it clear he wants him to stay

Gera has scored 25 times in 154 appearances for the Baggies since arriving from Ferencvaros four years ago.
He played his part in the club's Premier League return with match-winning goals at Wolves and Norwich during the Championship run-in, taking his tally for the season to 11, his most productive campaign at the Hawthorns.
"The chairman has stated that a club would have to come in with silly money for Zoltan," Stapleton added.
"The club's willing to give the wages to Zolly, so the chairman's made it clear he wants him to stay."
