West Bromwich Albion's Jason Koumas has been named as the Championship's player of the month for December. The Wales international midfielder found the net four times in six league games as the Baggies remained unbeaten by collecting four wins and two draws.
Koumas has now scored seven goals in 23 league appearances this season.
The other contenders were Birmingham forward Gary McSheffrey, Colchester striker Richard Garcia and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Glenn Whelan.
