On-loan Watford midfielder Tom Cleverley will miss the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.
The 20-year-old, who is on loan from Manchester United, made 35 starts for Watford, scoring 11 goals.
Hornets boss Malky Mackay told the club website: "It is never nice seeing someone stretchered from the field but he will come back hungry.
"Since arriving, he has been fantastic for us in every way, not just games but also his attitude and application."
