Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2012.
The 20-year-old has become first choice stopper this season, since the arrival of Brendon Rodgers as manager.
Loach told the club's website: "I'm over the moon, I didn't expect to be signing a new contract this season.
"I think with the new management system we have in place now, we're going to go far and to be part of that makes me feel so wanted."
Nottingham-born Loach has already attracted international attention having featured twice for Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 team.
