Watford have completed the signing of Estonian international defender Andrei Stepanov on a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old, who has 79 caps for his country, impressed during a trial with the Hornets.
He had most recently been playing for Russian side FC Khimki and was voted Estonia's player of the year in 2004.
Watford boss Brendan Rodgers told the club website: "He is an international and a very experienced player."
