Walsall defender Manny Smith has expressed his gratitude to the medical teams that treated him following his head injury at Millwall on Saturday.
Smith was knocked unconscious at the New Den and taken to hospital, but was released later that evening.
"Jon [club physio Jon Whitney] and the medical team were first class," he told the club website.
"Would I do it again? Of course. The next time we have a corner, I'll be up there looking to get on the end of it."
Centre-back Smith collided with Millwall goalkeeper David Forde and has only a sketchy memory of what happened.
"I remember going up for a corner and colliding with the keeper, but don't remember too much after that," he said.
"I remember a few things like Jon Whitney rushing over to me and asking me to squeeze his hand.
"I also remember being put into a neck brace and being carried off the pitch to an ambulance.
"I was pretty calm but there seemed to be a lot of panic amongst the lads, which made me a little nervous but I was in good hands.
"When I got to the hospital they took my blood pressure and did a few tests before giving me the all-clear.
"I was given oxygen, which calmed me down.
"It was a nice touch that all the lads waited for me, so we could travel home together.
"I'm fine now and would like to thank the Walsall and Millwall supporters for their concern."
