Walsall chief executive Roy Whalley says manager Richard Money's success is bound to attract attention from other clubs in time. "It's one of the penalties of success," Whalley told BBC WM.
"It's a bit like players. If they do well they're always going to attract the interest of so-called bigger clubs. That's life.
"The only consolation is he's got to achieve success at Walsall to get the offer from other clubs."
Whalley added: "I feel that Richard Money is a very, very good manager. I feel he can lead us back into the Championship and I believe he will do that.
"As to what the future holds for him, who knows, but if he does well for Walsall it does increase the chances of a bigger club coming in for him.
"In the meantime, he's doing it for Walsall, and we're enjoying it. We hope we can grow, just as his managerial career also develops."
