Richard Money has been appointed as the new manager of Walsall after agreeing a two-year deal. Money has been a coach at Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Coventry.
He began his managerial career at Scunthorpe and has been in charge at Swedish clubs AIK Stockholm, Vasteras and Australian side Newcastle Jets.
Walsall have been without a full-time boss since Kevan Broadhurst was sacked on 24 April, following their relegation to League Two.
Midfielder Mark Kinsella has been in temporary charge.
But Kinsella stated when taking over that he did not want the job on a permanent basis.
Broadhurst had been in charge for two months, since succeeding player-boss Paul Merson.
