Walsall have sacked manager Kevan Broadhurst following the club's relegation to League Two. Saturday's 3-1 home defeat against Huddersfield confirmed the Saddlers' second relegation in three years.
Broadhurst took over in February, following the departure of Paul Merson, but the Saddlers had a disastrous run of eight games without a victory.
Walsall's experienced midfielder Mark Kinsella will take charge of the final two games of the season.
A statement on the club's official website confirmed Broadhurst's departure, adding: "The board of directors felt that with relegation confirmed, in fairness to both the club and Kevan Broadhurst, the time was right to terminate the appointment.
"The directors acknowledge the hard work carried out by Kevan during his time at Walsall football club and wish him every success in the future."
Broadhurst was initially appointed until the end of the season, on the condition that the Saddlers avoided the drop.
He previously managed Northampton Town, and also had spells on the coaching staff at Birmingham, Luton, Oxford and Bristol Rovers.
