Huddersfield sent 10-man Walsall tumbling out of League One with an impressive display at the Bescot. David Graham put the visitors ahead before the break when he steered Chris Brandon's cross beyond Andy Oakes.
Substitute Pawel Abbott poked home the second with seven minutes to go and the Saddlers then had Chris Westwood sent off for late tackle on Andy Booth.
And although Michael Leary pulled one back with a shot from the edge of the area, Booth's header sealed the win.
