Walsall have signed Stoke City midfielder Peter Sweeney on a two-month loan deal. The 23-year-old started his career at Millwall before joining the Potters in July 2005 and had loan spell at Yeovil last season.
Sweeney told Walsall's website: "I am determined to work my socks off for the club and do as well as I can.
"I am the sort of player who likes to get on the ball. I am comfortable on left or centre of midfield."
