Tranmere are still confident, says Mark McChrystal

Tranmere defender Mark McChrystal says Rovers will not let Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Peterborough take the gloss off their recent good form.

The loss was their first in six League One games, a run which has seen them climb six points above the drop zone.

"I think we're pretty positive and we're finding our style of play," McChrystal told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"We're starting to get some momentum going and I don't think we'll let this defeat get to us."

Rovers now head to Brentford, who are one point worse off, on Tuesday and McChrystal added: "We were on a great run going into the Peterborough game and I think we played pretty well.

"We were beaten but we've got to move on and Tuesday will come quickly and that's a good thing."
