Tranmere striker Ian Thomas-Moore says he is firmly focused on life at Prenton Park and is putting speculation of a move to Rotherham behind him.

The 34-year-old put in a transfer request in the summer.

After recent hamstring problems, he told told BBC Radio Merseyside: "It's all behind me and we've put it to bed.

"It's been hard but I just want to get my head down, get myself back into the team, start getting a few goals and I'll start being happy again."

Thomas-Moore, whose father Ronnie Moore is Rotherham boss, has struggled for form and suffered with knee and hamstring injuries this season.

He returned to the Rovers squad in the 2-0 defeat by Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday, and he says it has been a quick return to first team action.

"I've had a few niggles in the last few weeks and I managed to train on Thursday for the first time in three or four weeks," he continued.

"I'll possibly get a reserve game in on Wednesday and go from there. I felt OK when I came on against Southampton and come Saturday [against Brentford] I might be able to get a start if selected.

"It's early days and we've got to start winning a few games and cut the draws out. But if we pick a few results up over the next couple of weeks we'll be back in the mix."
